Chelsea is to play against Aston Villa this weekend seven points clear at the top and are also expected to eliminate Galatasaray from the Champions League on Tuesday and progress into the last eight of the competition.
Commenting on whether they Blues can go all the way in the Champions League and the Premier League?Mourinho says it is hard, noting that Nemanja Matic and Mohamed Salah cannot play in the Champions League.
"So it's 20 minus two, which is 18, minus Van Ginkel is 17. That's not a huge squad in terms of numbers or experience to cope."
Chelsea boss recalls that in order to win the Premier League the team need to prevail in 9 matches and "also have to wait for City not to win every match".
To make it in the Champions League Chelsea have "to beat Galatasaray and somebody in the quarter-finals and somebody in the semi-finals, and somebody in the final. And by somebody, I mean the best teams in the world."
Still, as for now Mourinho doesn't seem to eliminate this possibility and suggests to follow each game step by step and see what will happen.
