A big delegation
from Actors' Guild of Nigeria (AGN) including Ibinabo Fiberesima,
Monalisa Chinda, Stephanie Linus, Fred Amata, Joseph Benjamin, Desmond
Elliot, Victor Osuagwu, Chidi Mokeme, Mercy Aigbe and others met President Jonathan at the State House on February 18, 2014, to install him as Grand Patron of the Guild.
In her address the AGN President also asked GEJ to sack heads of movie regulatory agencies, the Nigerian Film Corporation and The National Film and Video Censors Board, because they have shown lack of capacity to put the industry on the path of growth.
The meeting went in a friendly manner, with lots of smiles and applauds.
